The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California invites applicants for positions as staff pathologists for a busy practice at LAC + USC Medical Center, Keck Hospital of USC, Norris Hospital and Cancer Research Institute in either the clinical or tenure-track professorial series, open rank.  Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications.  USC is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
 
Requirements:

• MD degree and California State Medical License with Board eligibility/certification in Clinical and/or Anatomic Pathology, or
• Ph.D. with appropriate clinical board certification (e.g., Microbiology, Clinical Chemistry, Medical Genetics)
• Positions include subspecialty experience/expertise in Surgical Pathology, Cytology, Clinical Pathology (Microbiology, Coagulation, Molecular Pathology)
• Clinical track candidates should have a demonstrated commitment to teaching and clinical service.
• Tenure-track candidates must have a record of independent research or demonstrated potential for such a program.  Research areas of particular interest to the Department include, but are not limited to, stem cell biology, immunopathology, and cancer biology.
